Over the years, Clyde RIBS experienced staff have endured the stiff, back breaking and knee crunching ride offered by the commercial craft and the equally uncomfortable vibrations / strange noises and feeling of insecurity associated with many of the light weight leisure craft.
We produce a craft of high build quality, good seakeeping with the heavy weight feel of a commercial craft whilst giving the aesthetics, performance and efficiency of a leisure craft.
A craft which users from each end of the spectrum will enjoy and will exceed their requirements. We have obtained our goal, as a result of the excellent hull design coupled to the high level and ergonomics of the functional layouts which will permit comfortable long distance passage making, or be equally at home delivering divers to a dive site or just round the estuary with the family.

Comments on the Volvo powered 700c.
'With its deceptively gentle leisure looks but commercial build quality, the craft behaved in a safe, surefooted and responsive manner at all times. The deep 'V' and long bow attacked the chop well, cutting through the waves with ease. Larger waves presented no problems, with a soft controlled landing. Whilst banked over when turning at speed, the hull gripped the water well with no tendency to slip and still the surefooted, smooth ride was evident, giving the feeling of a much larger craft. The engine was very responsive giving more than enough power to punch through the conditions experienced.
A highly manouverable , well built and forgiving RIB.'
